nextartspaceartist:“‘Flowers’ is a handmade collage I created using
found images (and glue and a scalpel!) It was created in response
to a brief given to me by Kerrie the creator of ‘Thorn Magazine’
(http://thornmagazine.tumblr.com/). Her magazine aims to show
the transience and symbolism of flowers in art, fashion and culture;
she wanted me to create some art work for the magazine that followed
this theme. I responded to this by aiming to create collage illustrations
that showed the sensuality and sexuality of flowers.”
